2 14 oz cans sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
2 tsp caraway seeds
4 pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
Pepper to taste
2 cooking apples, peeled, cored, sliced
2 Tbs raisins
4 tsp firmly packed brown sugar
4 Tbs apple juice or water

Preheat oven to 375º. Grease shiny side of 4 sheets of aluminum foil. Place sauerkraut in colander, press out excess liquid.
Place 1/4 of sauerkraut on center of each sheet of foil; sprinkle caraway seeds on top.Place pork chops on top of sauerkraut and season with pepper. Arrange apple slices and raisins over pork chops. Sprinkle each portion with brown sugar. Spoon on 1 Tbs apple juice or water.
To wrap,bring 2 opposite ends of foil up and over, making a double fold to seal tightly. Close both ends; seal tightly. Place packets on baking sheet and bake 1 hr or until thoroughly cooked;remove from oven. Carefully open packets and transfer pork mixture onto plates.

OR you can just brown your chops in large pan, add the sauerkraut around them plus other ingredients, and cook
on stove top for 60 minutes or till done!
