3 c. yellow squash, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
2 T. oleo
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
1 c. cornbread, crumbled
2 T. oleo
1 tsp. Italian spices

Directions:
Directions:
Cook squash and onion in salted water for 5 minutes; drain. Add 2 T. oleo and mash. Add egg, salt, sugar, soup and cheese. Mix well and place in greased casserole.
Mix cornbread, Italian spices and 2 T. melted oleo; sprinkle on top of squash mixture.
Bake at 350 until crumbs are brown and mixture is bubbly.
