Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large jar whole dill pickles
Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Take whole pickles out of jar, discard juice. Slice pickles about 1/4" thick. Place a heaping 1/8 C. granulated sugar in bottom of pickle jar -- add about 2" of sliced pickles, then another 1/8 C. of sugar, continue layering this way until all pickles are used and jar is full. Put sugar on top and screw on lid and place in refrigerator. Check next day -- you may need to add more sugar if you don't see much juice. After a few days, all sugar will be dissolved and pickles will taste like bread 'n butter pickles instead of dills and they will be very crunchy.
