2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. plus 1 T. water
3 eggs
1 t. almond butter
2 T. sugar





Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. butter and 1T. water together.
Roll into two equal strips on cookie sheet. Use fingers to press into two thin strips. Set aside.
Bring 1 c. water and 1/2 c. butter to boil.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 c. flour.
Stir until smooth.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Add almond extract and sugar. mix well.
Spread over the strips on the cookie sheet covering the entire strips.
Bake at 350º for 55-60 minutes

When cooled slightly frost with 1 T. soft butter, 1 t. almond extract and 1 c. powdered sugar. Add 1-2 cream or milk and mix to make a smooth frosting.
