1/3 cup sifted Flour
2/3 cup Sugar
1/4 t Salt
2 cup scalded MIlk
3 beaten Egg Yolks
2 T Butter
1/2 t Vanilla
1 9" Pastry Shell-baked
2 stiff beaten Egg Whites
6 T. Sugar
1 can Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, 2/3 cup sugar, add salt and gradually add milk. Cook over moderate heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Cook 2 min. and remove from heat then add small amount to egg yolk. Stir into remaining hot mixture and cook 1 min stirring constantly. Add butter & vanilla and let cool slightly. Stir in coconut to mixtue when cooling. Pour into baked shell and cover with egg whites and 6 T sugar.

Bake @ 350º for 12-15 min.
