1 head of lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
10 ounces frozen peas, cooked
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
(Another mixture)
1 1/2 cups Miracle Whip (or like product)
1 tsp. mustard
2 Tbsp. sugar
(For topping)
3 ounces (I probably use more) cheddar cheese, grated
Bacos or bacon bits

Directions:
Directions:
Toss the lettuce with the vegetables and spread them out evenly in a flat dish.

Mix the Miracle Whip and mustard and sugar together and pour over the lettuce mixture.

Top it all with grated cheddar cheese and bacon bits.

This is really a very delicious salad--especially nice for company or a potluck. It can easily be made and kept in refrigerator overnight. It doesn't taste too tacky for leftovers for the next day or two, also! I like it!
