Cream Cheese Danish Recipe

2 8-count Cans Crescent Rolls
16 Ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pecan topping
1/2 c butter or margarine, melted
1/2 c sugar
2 t cinnamon
1 c chopped pecans

For the Danish-
Unroll 1 can of rolls and press in bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish. Press perforations to seal, easing dough slightly up sides of dish.
Combine cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla -mixing til smooth. Unroll remaining can of rolls and arrange over top, pinching perforationa and pressing the edges to seal.
For topping:
Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans and mix well. Spread evenly over top layer.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and then cut in rectangles to serve.
