Brown a pot roast.

Add 2 cans beef broth
2 cans tomato sauce
1/4 bottle red wine

Directions:

Brown the pot roast in a skillet with oil, on both sides.

Mix the other ingredients together and place roast and mixture in a slow cooker. Cook until done.

Make gravy out of juice.

I'm sorry I can't be more specific. My sister said, "This is wonderful". I would think the roast would be several pounds--- And when I cook beef roasts, I usually cook it for hours to get it as tender as possible. Your mom will know!
