Sauce: 1 small onion-chopped, 2 cloves garlic, 1 ( 7oz. can tomato paste, 1 tbsp. oregano 1/4 c. olive oil, 3 c. water, 1 tsb. salt, dash of pepper, 2 ( 8 oz.) cans of tomato sauce, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. basil. MEATBALLS: 3 slices bread, 4 sprigs parsley, 3 tbsp. grated parmeasan cheese, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 3/4 c. water, 1 small onion-chopped, 1 lb. ground beef, 1 egg, 1 tsp. salt

SAUCE: Saute onions and garlic in olive oil, add remaining ingredients of sauce and simmer 1 hr. MEATBALLS: To make meat balls, soak bread in water, then mash with fork. Mix all ingredients, add bread mixture and shape into 2 inch balls. Place in greased baking dish and bake for 30 min. at 450 degrees. Add baked meat balls to sauce, after sauce has cooked 1 hr. Simmer 30 min. more. Serve over cooked spaghetti and top with greated parmesan cheese. (An electric skillet is ideal for sauce and meat balls, & makes a perfect server.
