2 lb. butternut squash
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 T. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace
2 baking apples

Directions:
Directions:
Slice butternut squash into 1" rings, peel and discard seeds. Cut rings in half and place in 9" x 12" sprayed casserole. Mix brown sugar and melted butter, add flour, salt and mace. Set aside. Core apples, do not peel. Cut into slices and lay on top of squash. Drizzle sugar mixture over. Cover with foil and bake 55 min. at 350 degrees.

I love this recipe. It is easy and goes great with pork roast or chops. You can make a little more of the sauce and spoon over pork and it is delicious! Pretty too. You can chunk the squash any way you want to. I just find it easlier to peel in rings.
