Halusky Recipe

2 medium potatoes - peeled
2 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 medium cabbage
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup water
salt and pepper to taste

Grate cabbage. Put in skillet with margarine, salt, pepper and water. Cook over low heat, tossing often, till light brown.
Mix flour, salt, baking powder and enough water to make a sticky dough. Drop by 1/2 or 1/4 tsp. full into boiling salted water. Boil 10 minutes. Drain. Rinse with warm water. Drain.
Add browned cabbage with dumplings.
Serve immediately.
