1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. peanut butter (I use about 3/4 c.)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg and vanilla. Blend dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Shape in 1" balls; roll in granulated suger. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press crisscross with fork tines. Bake at 375º for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly; remove from pan. Makes 4 dozen.
