1 pound round steak (cut in bite-size cubes)
1 T cooking oil
1 Medium onions, coarsely chopped
1 Medium gloves garlic1 T sugar
1 Cup water
2 T Kikkoman soy sauce
No SALT NEEDED

Directions:
Directions:
Tim fat and membrane off steak, Saute steak in 1 T oil. Browning meat well is important. Remove meat from, add 1 tablespoon oin, lower heat and saute onion and garlic. Return steak to pan: add Sugar, water and soy sauce. Lower heat to simmer,; cover tightly and cook 1 hour.
Serve over hot rice or saffrom rice.
Can make ahead and reheat.
