1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400. Mix thououghly butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour salt and nuts until dough hold together. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 8- to 10 min or until set but not brown. While warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool.
Roll in sugar again.
About 4 dozen
DO not uise self-rising flour
