2 lbs green beans (or asparagus), washed & dried
2 - 3 tbsp. olive oil
1 - 2 tsp. soy sauce
1-1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
2 -3 garlic cloves, crushed (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees

Put green beans on a jelly roll pan.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Sprinkle with the garlic, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Use your hands to lightly mix and be sure all the beans are evenly coated. Spread them out into 1 layer.

Roast for 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes, until beans are fairly brown in spots and somewhat shriveled. Serve hot or at room temperature.

These are always a huge hit! Green beans should never be boiled again! Great on the grill, too!!
