1 1/2 c sugar
1/3 c white corn syrup
1/4 c buttermilk
2 tsp butter
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, syrup, buttermilk, butter and salt. Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage. Remove from heat and add pecans and vanilla. Let stand for about 5 minutes, then beat until mixture begins to thicken and coat pecans. Return to heat, stirring until mixture is soft and will pour easily. Spoon out on freezer paper to size pralines desired.
