1 cup uncooked penne pasta
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tbsp butter
4-1/2 tsp all purpose flour
1 cup milk
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 tbsp real bacon bits

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a small nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, sauté onion and garlic until tender; set aside. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in 1 cup cheese until melted.
Drain pasta, Add pasta, bacon and onion mixture to the sauce; stir to coat. Transfer to a small baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees, 15 to 20 minutes
