Place in large bowl:
2 c. sugar 2 c. all-purpose flour
Set aside. In a saucepan, bring to rapid boil:
1/2 c. Crisco 3 tbsp cocoa
1 stick butter 1 c water
Pour over sugar and flour and mix well. Add:
Vanilla 1 tsp. soda in 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp cinnamon 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan for 30 min at 350º

Icing: Bring to a boil:
2 tbsp cocoa, 1 stick butter, 6 tbsp milk

Remove from heat and add:
1 box powdered sugar 1 c chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Pour over cake, cut in squared when cool
