1 lb. ground beef, low in fat
1/2 lb ground pork (or use all ground beef)
salt and pepper
3/4 cup cooked rice
1 onion chopped
16 oz. can tomato sauce
about 20 cabbage leaves
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar

Directions:
The night before, freeze cabbage in plastic bag. Defrost and peal off leaves. Or cover cabbage leaves with boiling water 4 min and drain. Combine meat, salt, pepper, rice, onion and 8 oz. tomato sauce. Divide on cabbage leaves and roll up tightly. Put in covered skillet. Make sauce of 8 oz. tomato sauce, brown sugar and vinegar and pour over rolls. Simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours, covered. Baste often.
