3/4 cup soft margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1.4 cup milk
1 egg
1 tea. vanilla
1 tea. cinnamon
1 cup flour
1/2 tea. baking soda
3 cups old-fashioned oats, not fast cooking
1 cup raisins
nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugar, milk, egg and vanilla till fluffy. Add flour, cinnamon and baking soda. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 12-15 min. at 350º. Remove and cool on wire racks.
