Chuck roast, fat removed as much as possible
Dried onion soup mix
1 can mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Tear off foil and sprinkle 1/3 package of onion soup mix on bottom. Add roast, sprinkle top with remainder of onion mix, top with mushroom soup. Seal in foil, put in shallow pan.
Bake below oven center at 325 for 3 hours

Originally from Nana, but a popular recipe with everyone. Easy and good. I add veggies to the pan and slow cook them along with the roast.
