8 eggs, separated
1 C. corn syrup
4 C. whole milk
1 C. sugar
4 C. whipping cream
8 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk. Beat egg yolks with sugar and corn syrup and add to milk. Cook until mixture coats the spoon. Cool. Separately beat egg whites whipping cream until stiff and add both to cooled mixture. (Do NOT mix the egg whites with whipping cream to beat -- beat each separately.)
Add vanilla and freeze per manufacturer's instructions.

You will note that June Bug's recipe is much richer and more fattening than any of the previous recipes. However, it is worth the extra calories and pounds. Grandpa Roberts (Paul) always made home made ice cream for every family reunion and Harold and Marge kept the tradition going after he died in 1972. It's a tradition that all of us cherish.
