2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Shortening
2 Eggs
3 cups Flour
Pinch of Salt
1 1/2 t. Soda
8-10 T. Buttermilk
3 BAnanas - mashed
1/2 cups chopped Nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Mix in order given. Add soda to buttermilk. Bake in greased & floured loaf or tube pan @ 350º for one hour.

For holidays add 1 cup candied fruits.
