Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Salad
2 - 3 bunches of broccoli.
1 large sweet onion, sliced thinly
6 slices thick sliced bacon, cut in pieces and fried crisp
1/2 C toasted almonds or pecans
1/2 C raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Clean broccoli and cut florets close and separate into small florets. Set on paper towels to drain and either spin dry or blot all moisture with paper towels. Place florets in large salad bowl. Add thinly sliced onion, crisp bacon, raisins and toasted nuts (don't leave these out, they really add to the salad)

Dressing:
1/2 C Mayo
1 T cidar vinegar
3 T. sugar (can sub. 1-1/2 T. Splenda)
1 T. Balsamic Vinegar
Mix all dressing ingredients -- the balsamic vinegar really adds a special, unique flavor to the dressing -toss with salad and refrigerate several hours for best flavor. If you use 3 bunches of broccoli, you will probably need to make a double or triple batch of the dressing -- I like it well coated. It's also great leftover.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a salad that people love. Great served at barbeques in place of green tossed salad.
