Ingredients:  
1/2 - 1 lb. bacon (cut in small pieces)
3 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 can whole tomatoes (chopped)
1 t salt
1 T black pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 bell pepper (chopped)
2 cans yellow hominy (drained)
2 T chili powder
1/4 - 1/2 cup chopped jalapenos (to taste)
1 or 2 T crushed red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon in large skillet until done.(drain off 1/2 the grease) add garlic and saute about 1 minute, then add onion, and bell pepper and saute for another 2 or 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, hominy, seasonings, and jalapenos. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes then let sit for 10 or 14 minutes before serving.
