2/3 cup of butter or margarine
1/2 cup (packed) brown sugar
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Using a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat with mixer 2 minutes until mixture is fluffy.
Combine oats, flour, soda and salt. Add to beaten mixture. Beat until thoroughly blended. Stir in the raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on a well greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350ºF oven for 10 to 12 minutes until light brown.
