1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp Vanilla
2 pkg microwave popcorn - popped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, sugar, syrup & salt in large bowl. Microwave on high until mixture comes to boil. Then cook on low for 4 minutes. Stir 3 times. Add baking soda and Vanilla.
After shaking down all of the 'old maids" in the popcorn, and removing them, put popped corn in brown grocery bag. Pour mixture over & stir. Cook 1 1/2 minutes in microwave. Shake sack hard. Cook another 15 seconds.

With the microwave popcorn being so easy now, adding the caramel syrup is a fun and easy way to get caramel corn.
