1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
1 cup molasses
3 eggs, well beaten
4 cups flour
2 Tbsp soda
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the liquids together well. First the oleo and sugar then beat the egg and molasses. Add the dry ingredients and beat until mixed. Form the dough in balls. Dip in sugar. Chill. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
