1 egg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 ¼ cup warm water
4 cups flour
1 cup water
3 Tbsp lard

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg and water. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Knead dough well. Put in bowl; cover, let stand 1 hour or longer. Make 6 balls. Roll out; brush with oil or soft shortening. Stretch dough out until real thin. Roll up like cinnamon rolls. Cut about 3 inches in length. Put in pan with water and lard. Cook at medium heat until they fry (about 25 minutes).
