2 cups sugar
2/3 cup shortening
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup four
1 tsp salt
5 Tablespoons Cocoa
Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together: sugar, shortening, eggs and Vanilla. Sift together flour, salt, and cocoa. Add to other ingredients. Fold in nuts. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.

This recipe came from my sister Janie Robinson, who received it from her sister-in-law, Sylvia Robinson. The date I received it was June 5, 1987. Some of my girls even entered this brownie in the Wayne County Fair in the 4-H division and won blue ribbons. It is easy and delicious.
