1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 c cooking oil
1-1/4 c milk or 1 c plus 1/2 c water
3 eggs beaten in one at a time

Frosting: 2 eggs slightly beaten; 1 c sugar; 1 c sour cream; 1 tsp flour; dash salt; 1 T vanilla; 1/2 c coconut; 1/2 c nut meats

Topping: 2 T butter; 6 oz chocolate chips

Beat cooking oil, 1-1/4 c milk and eggs. Add to cake and pudding mix. Stir well. Pour into 9x13-inch greased pan and bake at 350-degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let cake cool.
Cook in double boiler sugar, sour cream, flour, salt and vanilla until consistency of custard. Stir in coconut and nut meats. Frost cooled cake.

Topping:
After frosting cools, add 2 T butter melted over hot water. Add chocolate chips and spread over frosting.
