2 large eggs
1 ½ cups milk
2 Tbs. sugar
1 day-old baguette or French bread, cut into 1-inch-thick slices
Fresh fruit, sliced, for serving
Maple syrup, for serving.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and sugar. Place the bread in a square glass baking dish. Pour the batter over the bread. Let stand until both sides of the bread are soaked through, about 10 minutes, turning slices once after 5 minutes. Bake until the bread is golden brown, about 25 minutes. Serve hot, topped with sliced fruit and maple syrup
