Ingredients:
Ingredients:
organic mixed baby greens
cucumbers, onions, green and/or red pepper, tomamtoes
(really whatever salad stuff you like and/or have handy)
beans (i use a mix of blackbeans and red beans, left over
from the crockpot the night before and begging to be thrown
cold into a salad)
lean ground buffalo meat
whole grain or blue corn tortillas (optional)

The creation of this salad occurred only because these
happened to be the leftover ingredients i had brought with me
to the dojo that day. And then i said to myself, "self, wouldn't it
be great if we used those leftover beans and that leftover
buffalo in our salad today?" Self said yes, so we did- and the
rest is Ultimate Blackbelt history. The dish is delicious. Just
throw the beans in a crock-pot overnight covered with water
and with garlic and pepper to taste. Next, sauté your ground
buffalo with more garlic (God's natural cleanser and staple
power food) and some worstshire sauce. You can also use
pepper and salt, if you must. Of course we all know that too
much table salt isn’t good. Anyway, next day you can put the
beans and whatever other salad veggies you want on your
baby greens or other organic lettuce blend and top with the
chili. It’s delicious and nutritious cold and you can eat it all day
long.

There were no tortilla shells in the original creation, but you
may add them as alluded to in the ingredients if you wish.

Finish the dish off with a good healthy walk, some fresh water
and some fresh air and you’re ready for action the rest of the
day!

as many as you need

Preparation Time:
beans need to cook overnight, but you'll spend less than 20 minutes total hands-on
Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
not really sure if this should be listed under salad instead, but i
think it can be a main course too. and vegetarians can even use
it and just leave out the buffalo.
