1 med. head lettuce
8 oz. or more shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 can kidney beans
1 large onion, chopped or sliced
4 med. tomatoes
1 pkg. taco chips
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 bottle thousand island dressing

Break up 1 medium head of lettuce into large salad bowl. Brown
1 lb. ground beef and drain. Add 1 can kidney beans and 1/2 of
the taco seasoning. Mix the remaining taco seasoning with the
thousand island dressing. Layer the ingredients on top of the
lettuce shortly before serving. Add the thousand island dressing
immediately before serving.
