1 1/2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 t. salt
1/2 chopped celery
1/2 c.chopped carrots
2 T. onion
1/2 t. worcestershire sauce
1--16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/4 c. shredded sharp american cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into small portions. Mix flour and salt, pound into meat, set aside remaining flour. Brown meat in small amount of hot shortening.Place meat in shallow baking dish. Blend remaining flour with drippings in skillet. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook stirring constantly until mixture boils. Pour over meat. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
Top with cheese and return to oven for a few minutes
