1 cup sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups All-Bran cereal
1 cup raisins or currants
1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
2 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the first 4 ingredients several times to mix thoroughly. Add the All-Bran, then the raisins and nuts. Stir in the buttermilk. Bake in two 8x4 inch loaf pans at 300 º Fahrenheit for 1 hour.
