1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c.oleo
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs,beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. oleo
1/2 c brown sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1/3 c. nuts
3/4 c. coconut

Pour boiling water over oats and cover. Let stand 20 min. Cream oleo,sugars,eggs and vanilla. Blend dry ingredents and add to creamed mixture and oats. Grease and flour 9 x 13 x2 pan. Add batter. Bake 350 . Frosting:blend oleo,brown sugar,milk,nuts and cocnut.Spread over top of cake. Put under broiler till bubbles.
