8 slices of white bread with crusts removed
8 slices of bacon, cut in thirds
1 pkg. whipped cream cheese (one with herbs would be good)
1 tbsp. finely chopped scallions
wooden toothpicks

Directions:
Directions:
Mix scallions with cream cheese. Spread mixture on bread; cut bread lengthwise in thirds. Place a strip of the bread (cream cheese side up) on a strip of the bacon; roll and insert toothpick to hold together.
Bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until golden brown and bacon is crisp.
