4 cups all purpose flour
2 tsps baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsps ginger
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups molasses
1/2 cup crisco (melted)
1/4 cup oleo (melted)
1/3 cup Boiling Water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the first (5) ingredients together, then add the next (4) liquids and blend well. *Note, make sure your water is boiling hot. Chill overnight or for several hours. Heat oven to 375º. Roll dough between (2) sheets of waxed paper lightly floured. Roll to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake for 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Store in air tight container. Enjoy with a tall glass of cold milk!!!
