2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lemon jello
2 C. boiling water
2 C. cold water
8 T. sugar
pinch salt
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained and reserve juice for topping
3 bananas, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Make jello according to pkg. directions -- add fruit as package directs.

Topping:
2 T. flour
1/4 C. sugar
1 C. pineapple juice
1 egg, beaten
Cook flour, sugar and pineapple juice with beaten egg until thickened. Spread over set jello. Regfrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.

Mom made this every year for the East Palestine Football Banquet when David was in high school (1962 -- 1966). It's a very delicious salad.
