5 Hour Beef Stew Recipe

2 lbs. beef stew meat
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium stalk celery, chopped
2 - 3 carrots. chopped
4 - 5 medium sized potatoes, quartered
1 large can green beans
1 large can peas
1 large can mushrooms
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
1 T. sugar
2 T. tapioca
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3/4 C. red wine

Put all ingredients in a pan and sprinkle with seasonings and tapioca. Do NOT stir. Add tomato sauce and red wine. Cover tightly with foil, never stir. Bake at 250 for 5 hours.
