1/2 cup sugar
1 cup lard
1 egg
1 cup sorgum
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup boiling water
spices
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and lard together. Add egg and sorgum. Put on stove heat until blended. Sift dry ingredients in mixture and beat well. Add cup of water, beat well. Bake at 275º
