4 slices 2 day old bread
1 large egg
whole milk

margarine

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl beat eggs well. Add 1/2 c. milk and beat again. Be sure griddle or large skillet is hot. Melt 2 T. margarine in skillet. Using hands, drop bread, one at a time into egg/milk mix and quickly flip to coat 2nd side and quickly place in pan to fry. When top appears to dry slightly and edges look like they are browning, flip and finish cooking

Can dust with confectioner's sugar or use maple syrup and margarine.
