1 lb. suet
2 lbs. currants
3 lbs. raisins
1 lb. mixed fruit
3 cups white sugar
Juicew and grated rind of 2 lemons
1 cup fruit juice
5 lbs. apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Grind up fruit and mix together. Cook slowly for 1 hour. Put in jars while hot. Will keep in fridge for several months. Freezes well.

It makes 6 quarts so I freeze it and it lasts me two or three years. It's good in muffins and cookies as well as tarts.
