2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
milk
2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. or 1 Tbsp. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Break one egg into a 3/4 cup measuring cup and fill with milk to make 3/4 cup. Mix lightly. Knead on floured board 12 to 15 times. Pat or roll out to 1/2" thickness & cut with biscuit cutter. Bake 425º for about 10 minutes or til lightly browned.
