2 sticks margarine
3 cups sugar
6 eggs, beaten slightly
1 T. flour
1/4 t. salt
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. ground cloves
1 cup milk
2 uncooked pie crusts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream margarine and add sugar; cream until light and fluffy.
2. Mix slightly beaten eggs into creamed margarine and sugar.
3. Combine flour, salt, and spices; add to creamed mixture.
4. Blend in milk.
5. Pour filling into unbaked pie shells.
6. Bake in uncooked crusts in a 450º oven
for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350º
for 30 minutes, or until firm.

This recipe was one handed down by my daddy's mother. She said that the pies weren't pretty but they sure were good and that is the truth!
