1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in a 3-quart saucepan. Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Stir and boil until temperature reaches 232ºF on a candy thermometer, or until a small amount of the mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla; do not stir. Cool to 110ºF, then beat until fudge thickens and loses some of its gloss. Spread in a buttered 8x8-inch pan. When set, cut into squares.

Personal Notes:
If you want to go to the little bit of trouble it takes to make this recipe this is STILL the VERY best fudge I've ever had.
