½ STICK BUTTER
7 CUPS VIDALIA ONIONS COARSLEY CHOPPED
½ CUP UNCOOKED RICE
5 CUPS BOILING SALTED WATER
1 CUP GRATED SWISS CHEESE
2/3 CUP HALF & HALF OR MILK,
SALT

MELT BUTTER IN SKILLET, ADD ONIONS AND SAUTE TIL TRANSLUCENT. PREHEAT OVEN TO 325. COOK RICE IN BOILING SALTED WATER 5 MINUTES, DRAIN WELL. MIX RICE WITH ONION MILK AND CHEESE, ADD SALT AND BAKE FOR 1 HOUR. SERVE HOT.
