1 1/2 c. crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
2 tsp. pure vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 pkg. frozen coconut

1 c. Sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. white corn syrup

Cream together for 10 minutes Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time to creamed mixture. Sift dry ingrediendts together and add alternately with milk. Last fold in coconut and flavorings. Bake in large greased tube pan at 300 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and pour the syrup over cake the.

Syrup: Boil all ingredients together for 5 minutes, then pour over baked coconut cake.
