1 cup butter
1 cup molasses
1 tblsp water
1 tblsp giner
1/2 tsp red pepper
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
3.5 cups flour
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar, add molasses and beat well. Dissolve soda in water and add to creamed mixture. Next add flour & soda, salt, ginger and pepper. Shap into 1inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. flatten balls. Bake at 350 for 9-10min
